This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and schematics, ensuring
high-quality workmanship & customer service on various installation construction projects. The
Install/Finish Carpenter will be required to have unmatched integrity, a positive attitude, a
willingness to learn and think outside of the box, and exceptional balance to move rapidly
without compromise.
Due to expansion, the current role is a part-time with opportunity for full-time, and continued
advancement.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment used in closet installations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or technical training in carpentry or a related field preferred
- Experience with custom carpentry and cabinetry
- Successful results in situational experience working without extreme supervisory
oversight and step-by-step instruction is required. - Experience in effective and professional communication with both internal team members and & "customers" or clients is required.
- Strong skills in hand tools and heavy lifting capabilities are required.
- Proven experience in carpentry with a focus on assembly and finish work is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction processes and practices for the most efficient completion is
a plus.
- Execute general job set up, execution, and clean up tasks and activities.
- Perform assembly & finish carpentry tasks and activities, resulting in a high-quality
custom finished product. - Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for assembling, cutting, shaping, etc.
materials. - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project
specifications. - Conduct fixture installations, including cabinets, doors, drawers, and hardware &
accessories, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. - Collaborate with team members on the most efficient alignment and sequence of tasks
and activities. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on
construction sites. - Deploy exceptional communication skills both internally & externally.
- Maintain an appropriate and professional appearance and demeanor.
